Lancome: Absolu Voyage

Hey guys! I bought this Lancome Absolu Voyage set on the Duty Free. I bought this set because of everything it included and how small it was, it fits in almost any purse and it's pretty complete.

This complete make-up palette includes:

- 1 black mascara
- 1 lip contour pencil in "Rose"
- 1 mini pencil black liner
- 1 power blush in "Rose Sable"
- 1 translucide compact powder
- 1 concealer in "Beige Clair"
- 4 powder eye shadow
- 1 color focus powder eye shadow
- 1 color design eye shadow
- 3 solid lipsticks

The mirror size is also really comfortable to touch up your make-up through the day. I do find the brush a bit too small, so I usually carry a small kabuki brush instead of using this one. But it is a must for every make-up pouch on your purse, for all the things it has and the little space it occupies! It even comes with a velvet pouch, which mine already looks kinda dirty but it protects the palette.

Benefit Cosmetics: Posietint, Sunbeam and Chachatint

Hey guys! I recently bought this Benefit Cosmetics trio. I think it's a great deal to test each tint on everyday use and see which one you like to buy full size, since we know Benefit isn't cheap. But I do LOVE some of their products!

This set consists of three miniature Posie Tint, Sun Beam and ChaCha tint.

Posie Tint: This is a pink tint that can be used on lips and cheeks. I love how you can decide the intensity of the pink by applying more of less product on your cheeks on lips. This one is my favorite one from the trio, I actually bough the full sized! Loved it for the lip color more than the cheeks, but that's just my opinion on my skin.

Sun Beam: This is the only highlighter from the set. It gives you a glittery look, perfect for summer. I do find it very similar to Benefit's Watts Up highlighter though, it may be a bit darker, but it's almost identical. I have oily skin so I'm not a big fan of everyday use on this one, I wouldn't buy the full-sized version.

ChaCha Tint: This is an orange tint that can be used on lips and cheeks also. It is very pigmented (a lot more than Posie Tint and Benetint, which I'll review later). I didn't like it that much on cheeks since I prefer red tones on them. I do like how it looks on lips, on mine I get a red color upon one application, but if I put more it turns orange, which I'm not a big fan of.

Here are some swatches so you can see how they look on my skin tone. The intensity of each will be determined on how many times you apply these products either on lips and cheeks (for Posie Tint and ChaCha Tint) and cheek bones or any other place you want to iluminate (such as your forehead, nose, etc)

Totally recommend this to try the famous Benefit tints and highlighters! The fact that they are liquid makes them perfect for any skin color and type, since you decide how much you apply and blend out.

Too Faced: Joy to the girls

Hey guys! I know I'm a bit late on this one, but I haven't used it till today. I loved the packaging it comes in and I have been wanting to try the Lashgasm mascara.

The palette consists of 15 eyeshadows and one full sized Lashgasm mascara. It also includes some pictures on tentatives looks you can create with the colors from the palette.

Overall I loved the packaging and the colors it has. I love using brown and matte colors on my eyes, and lately I've been using Too Faced eyeshadows to go to work and they stay on a lot longer than Benefit's for example. I do use an eye primer though, but the colors really show on your eyes since they are very pigmented.

For the Lashgasm, I didn't love it. I own Benefit's They're Real mascara (which I'll write a review later and probably a demonstration) and it makes them look a lot longer and with more volume that this Lashgasm mascara. I guess it's ok if you want a more natural look, They're Real mascara puts A LOT of mascara on your eyes and may be better for night looks. So I liked it, but I wouldn't re-purchase it.

Totally recommend the palette, adorable packaging and the high quality eyeshadows have no comparison to brands that have similar prices.

Too Faced: Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush

Hey guys! This is one of my christmas presents I received this year. It is the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in the tone "Candy Glow". It is a blush trio, which has a red tone, a coral one and a more pink one. All three have a bit of golden shimmer, but it doesn't show as much once applied on your skin.

I do use this blush everyday, mostly because I like how it you can decide the tone and the intensity of the look and the glitter doesn't show as much as it looks like in the box. Here are some swatches so you can see the colors, although it looks a lot more natural blended out on the cheeks.

I think it's perfect for an everyday-makeup look, because it is light coverage but it gives a tint of color (my skin is tanned). I would totally recommend this, as it says on the box "this trio of shimmering shades blends to create the perfect flush for any skin tone at any age, year-round".

One of my faves, definitely!

NARS:

Hey guys! I recently bought the NARS Wicked Attraction 2013 Holiday edition. I felt it was a really good deal for everything the set brought. It included:
This is what the box looks like

This is how it looks once you open it

- A miniature smudge proof eyeshadow base

- A single eyeshadow in the color Fathom

- A Larger than life lipgloss in the color Spring
Break

- A miniature palette duo consisting of the Orgasm blush and Laguna Bronzer

Why I loved it: It included a lot of samples from NARS famous classics. I have been meaning to try the Orgasm blush, and I adored it! I'm absolutely buying the full-size version of it. It is a rose gold tone that together with some brightener, looks perfect for my everyday makeup. I do have beige-tan toned skin though, so it may be different if your skin is darker. I already had the Laguna Bronzer, which I'm guessing you've heard enough of. It gives you a natural looking tan and it matches almost any skin color. I wasn't too sure about the nude lip gloss because I like bright colors on my lips (because of my skin tone) but this one goes perfectly when doing a heavy eye makeup, such as black smokey eyes. The pro-prime smudge proof eyeshadow base really helps capture the eyeshadow and keep it in place, but I don't feel it is worth buying the full version. Last but not least, the single eyeshadow is lovely. I like soft pastel colors for everyday makeup look, and although this one has a lot of shimmer on it, it still looks really femenine. It doesn't end up looking as shimmery as it does in the packaging.

Overall review: Worth every cent and more. I totally recommend this to anyone who is just starting trying some high end makeup brands because you will be able to tell the difference and see that the price is worth it.
